Pana time

Is it five o'clock yet? This week has definitely been dragging- I can't wait for it to be over! And, in addition to the typical 2 p.m. on a Friday feeling, I'm also anxious to get home so we can head down to the lake for the weekend. We haven't been in a while, and won't be back until well after the wedding, so we're looking forward to a quick escape. Even if that escape doesn't begin until 11 p.m....

Unfortunately, Brian has to work a late night- I'm hoping he's home by 10 p.m. Since I'm getting off work at my regular time, I'll head home, pack up, drop off the dog, and make hummus. Yep, you read that right, I'm making hummus before heading to the lake. It was his Mom's request since we're all trying to be healthy! This time around I'll be making two kinds: a roasted garlic and a roasted red pepper.

Anyway, enough of the food talk, even though this weekend will be primarily about food. And wine. And relaxing. Three things that I definitely need right about now.

So stay tuned- there may be an Instagram pic or two that will pop up over the weekend. Otherwise, we're taking Monday off work, so I'll be back to regularly scheduled blogging on Tuesday. Hopefully I'll have a recipe or two to share, along with details about our upcoming move (yes, we're crazy and are moving the month before our wedding...)
